Viviane Feldman is junior at UNC-Chapel Hill from the small town of Hillsborough, North Carolina, but she was born outside of Paris, France. She studies Photojournalism, with minors in French and Middle Eastern/Islamic Studies.
On campus, Viviane is active in WXYC, a student-run radio station, and groups advocating for feminism, food access, Palestinian-Israeli peace, and photography. If she’s not studying or working, Viviane can be found drinking a hazelnut latte, petting a dog, watching sci-fi flicks, or going to concerts.
In Morocco, Viviane hopes to pursue her interests in identity politics, women’s rights, post-colonialism, countercultures, and Islam.
