Daria Etezadi is a junior at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, in Washington, D.C, pursuing a major in International Politics with a concentration in Security Studies.
Her interest in the MENA region has manifested itself in various positions with the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council, the Ayenda Foundation, and the Persian American Society for Health Advancement.
Coupled with a passion for writing, which she has pursued through columnist and writing positions with Georgetown’s student newspaper The Hoya, Daria hopes to give voice to international communities facing fluctuating security statuses.
While completing a semester in Rabat, she will be exploring women’s rights issues, particularly those related to labor and migration.
