Danielle Douglas is a junior at the University of Rochester, where she studies International Relations, Anthropology, and French. She has been an editor of both the sports and features sections of her school newspaper, Campus Times, and has spent a summer working with Rochester’s NPR affiliate station, WXXI.

While in Morocco, Dani hopes to be able to pursue her interests in renewable energy, media censorship, and international politics while improving her storytelling and photography skills.

Outside the newsroom, Dani can most likely be found outdoors hiking, running, and listening to some form of jazz.
